This extra-hard, fully edentulous mandible is intended for implantology and oral-surgery exercises that call for a denser polyurethane training model. Its tooth-free lower arch provides room to plan implant positions and practise drilling, cutting and implant-site preparation without interference from a remaining dentition. The extra-hard version gives instructors a distinct material option for discussing resistance during instrument handling and for introducing learners to different implant systems in a laboratory setting. Beyond implant-placement exercises, the model can be used for simulated fractures, surgical cuts and demonstrations of plate-and-screw fixation. It articulates with compatible maxillary models from the same range, including the suggested models OD-120 and OD-139, so individual mandibular exercises can be incorporated into a paired-jaw demonstration.
