This periodontal maxillary model combines a polyurethane base, a dentition designed for extraction exercises and simulated gingiva for practical teaching in periodontology and oral surgery. Its soft-tissue component allows learners to practise incisions, flap elevation and suturing while observing how tissue position relates to the teeth and supporting maxillary structure. The model supports demonstrations of gingival-recession correction, subepithelial connective-tissue grafting, periodontal flaps, crown lengthening and peri-implant tissue conditioning. Implant-placement and tooth-extraction exercises can also be incorporated into a supervised training programme, making it useful when a course links periodontal and restorative objectives. The silicone gingiva provides a physical medium for explaining tissue manipulation and comparing the aims of different mucogingival procedures. Suitable for dental teaching laboratories, hands-on workshops and instructor demonstrations, it keeps the focus on the relationship between the gingival tissues, tooth positions and planned periodontal intervention.
